these days, it seems cool to talk shit about this film. a lot of people say its not scary and/or its boring. the thing about horror films especially this one, you have to watch them with an open mind. you cant just fuck all and only like it if it scared the shit out of you. the blair witch project is indeed one of the best horror films ive ever seen. the story is about 3 filmmakers who hike into black hills to film about the legend of the blair witch. the viewer is told that they were never found and they are watching the recovered footage from their expedition. many people believed the movie was real because of the millions spent on viral promotion. i still remember when it came out back in 1999. at the time i believed the story was true after listening to my brother and sister's discussion. the cover of the vhs box always haunted me.anyway, ill give this movie an 8 out of 10.
