funny games is probably one of the most disturbing movies ive ever watched. i actually watched the us version a couple of years ago and it wasnt very good. i didnt like the acting. too sarcastic and bland. the 1997 version is more real and raw. i dont get why the director would make a shot by shot remake 11 years later. he must of had nothing else better to do. anyway, the story is about a family (a mom, a dad, and a kid who wears overalls) moving into a their summer lake house. after they get themselves situated at the house, a young chubby guy named peter comes over and asks the wife for some eggs. then another guy named paul, an arrogant good looking motherfucker comes in the house. you begin to realize that these guys dont want to leave. the husband tries making them leave but paul hits him in the leg with a golf club. for the rest of the film, the family has to play along with paul and peter's game to stay alive. oh and the dog and the son get killed first.FUCKED UP RATING: 8.5 OUT OF 10
