greetings (1968)

greetings has no plot. none at all. it just shows 3 guys. one is shown investigating the kennedy assassination. another one is trying to get laid and the third one is a peep artist. basically he's like marty's dad from back to the future, a peeping tom. it was a really weird film. very arty. something andy warhol would make. it was one of the first films robert de niro was in. i wouldn't recommend anyone to watch this film if they're not into random as fuck plots. also the soundtrack was fucking awful. god you would think they would pick better 60s music since this was made in 1968.

i watched for 20 minutes and then i got bored.

easy rider (1969)

for the longest time i've wanted to check out this film and i finally did and oh man it was a let down. it starts out with peter fonda and dennis hopper doing coke supplied by a bunch of mexicans then the rest of the film is just riding motorcycles, smoking pot, talking about nonsense, going to new orleans with jack nicholson, doing lsd, bitching, getting shot by hicks. whoops i just spoiled the film.

i feel like the ending was so half-assed. peter fonda and dennis hopper are just riding along the highway and these hicks in a truck go "HEH HEH LETS SCARE THEM" so they shoot dennis hopper, peter fonda freaks out and leaves to find help while the hicks come back and shoot his motorcycle and explodes. NOT COOL

i liked the part when they were tripping out on lsd. it had some good cinematography but every movie looked cool in the 60s right?

peter fonda looks just like nick mccarthy from franz ferdinand. just saying..

la chinoise (1967)

blah blah blah im a marxist blah blah blah blah revolution blah blah blah im french.
plot: 5 french guys talk about politics and shit. its 93 minutes long and its kinda lame.

week end (1967)

im not sure how i feel about this film. the cinematography was pretty neat. the story line was alright. what i got out of it was two lovers who are planning to kill each other and they get stuck in a traffic jam and the girl ends up eating her husband at the end. premier.com voted week end as the most dangerous film. of all the films ive seen so far, i think happiness is the most dangerous....and hilarious. ill give week end an 8 out of 10
